Job Duties:
As the Credit Director you will be The Hartford's key Personal Lines expert on the use of credit in underwriting and marketing. Responsibilities will include managing a staff of 9 actuarial students and pricing analysts; working with State Management and the Research Department to continue development and maintenance of our AARP products for personal auto insurance; delivering the agreed upon rate plan by managing the individual state rate approval process (which consists of developing rate level indications, presenting indications and recommendations, discusssing those findings and reaching consensus with State Management, Business Unit Director, AARP and their consulting actuary, preparing state insurance department filings, and responding to any questions on those filings).
