Illustration Design Analyst

Pacific Life Insurance Company, a leader in the financial services industry, is seeking an Illisutration Design Analyst.

Will be responsible for translating business needs and marketing specifications into illustration requirements. Assist in researching, developing and evaluating system solution alternatives. Design and develop user interfaces to support the Field and Marketing areas in the Life Insurance Division.

Minimum qualifications are: Knowledge of Life Insurance products and marketing applications such as Split Dollar and Deferred Compensation. Knowledge of marketing processing requirements and field system processing. Able to communicate technical information in varying degrees of detail. Visual Basic and/or C++ programming required.

Illustration QA Supervisor

Pacific Life Insurance Company, a leader in the financial services industry, is seeking an Illustration QA Supervisor to be responsible for supervising staff in the Quality Assurance Team (6-10 Quality Assurance Analysts) in Field Systems. Also includes verification of illustration accuracy and the processes used to accomplish this. Entails work on the current DOS illustration system, as well as the future Windows illustration system. Support duties include answering questions from the Home Office and Field personnel regarding illustration accuracy and providing specialized product calculations.

Minimum qualifications are: Knowledge of Life Insurance Division products and marketing concepts. 3-4 years experience in software development and testing, or equivalent. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience using Excel or programming languages. Ability to relate well with others. Supervisory experience strongly desired.

Quality Assurance Analyst

Duties include, but are not limited to: The Quality Assurance Analyst will be responsible for managing testing and quality assurance of Information Systems developed applications or vendor supplied packages used in support of TDC business. Position requirements include: Strong analytical skills; extensive experience within the insurance industry, including an understanding of the claims and underwriting functions; extensive experience in application testing and user acceptance testing procedures; experience writing test plans, matrixes and identifying problems related to specific applications; excellent written and verbal skills; the ability to interact with individuals and groups at all levels; the ability to organize and complete many diverse tasks; ability to work independently and prioritize work; proven interpersonal skills.
