Candidate will become an integral part of a professional consulting team,
handling the servicing of major clients, including drafting and responding
to correspondence, maintaining client files and auditing policies. Strong
property or casualty experience required. Candidate must work independently,

Duties include, but are not limited to: Responsible for providing loss
prevention services to TDC insureds within the designated region, serving as
a regional office team member providing risk resources, and working with
the team to promote TDC to insureds and potential insureds. Provides risk
education for region's insureds, potential insureds, and fellow team
members; responds to risk queries from any source; participates in TDC
functions, regional team committees, sales and marketing, etc. for the
welfare of TDC. Serves as a regional resource for risk related issues;
performs risk surveys for insured and potential insured; makes presentations
on risk related topics for insureds, potential insureds and non-insured
groups as a sales and marketing function; participates in budget preparation
and complies with the approved product; coordinates regional travel with
other team members; assists with the development of tools of the trade as
necessary for tasks related to risk or the regional team; assumes a
leadership role in the training and education of regional risk coordinators;
assists with or develops articles for the Sourcebook, Doctors' Advocate or
Bulletin; attends conferences as needed to stay abreast of the health care
arena; participates in regional and national risk associations; maintains
current knowledge of new products, changes in health care and procedures in
health care; maintains a familiarity with all segments of health care,
hospitals, physician offices, clinics, surgi-centers, managed care
organizations, etc. Pursues pro-activities in working with field office team
to identify low risk entities for loss prevention focus; works with field
office team to identify high risk entities for loss prevention
concentration; works with field office team to identify poor risk entities
for nonrenewal. Functions as a team member/leader.
Position experience includes: Minimum five (5) years' experience in
health care or insurance risk management; health care or clinical background
is a plus. Must have excellent writing and speaking skills; ability to
travel at any time; good decision-making qualities; ability to set
priorities; familiarity with and ability to use office equipment, including
overhead and slide projectors. College degree in a related field or
equivalent experience, masters degree preferred.

Specialist
* Evaluates the insurance exposures of the GROWMARK System and helps
determine the appropriate risk financing options.
* Assists with the calculation and allocation of insurance premiums.
* Negotiates with insurers on policy language and purchases insurance to
